Frequently Asked Questions
Vagus and Vine is a trauma-informed, neurobiological holistic practice focused on stress recovery, nervous system regulation, and herbal support. Everything offered here is rooted in medical science and how the body and brain heal—no mysticism, no yoga, no energy work, no spiritual mixing. Just practical, evidence-based care for women who need real rest.
This is a calm, restorative space designed for women whose bodies have lived too long in survival mode. Sessions use gentle, nervous-system-based movement, breathwork, and tailored herbal support to help you shift from overwhelm to steadiness at a pace that feels safe and sustainable for you.
Each plan is personalized to your needs, your comfort level, and your season of life, so your healing feels natural, not forced.
Our services are currently available online only. We are searching for the perfect spot in the Bentonville, Arkansas area to open our stress management clinic late 2026.

Yes. Much of our work is tailored for trauma impacted women. Sessions are gentle, paced, and designed to feel safe for sensitive nervous systems.
My background in trauma and stress recovery is both extensive and deeply personal. I’m a certified trauma informed yoga therapist and have years of experience in pastoral counseling for women walking through trauma, chronic stress, and dysregulated nervous systems. I know what it’s like to live in a body that has carried too much, and I understand how delicate this work needs to be.
Every session reflects that. We move slowly. We follow your cues. We create safety first. Nothing is forced.
You’re met with expertise, compassion, and practices that honor exactly where your body is without pushing it past its capacity.
We’re not a replacement for talk therapy—we work alongside it.
Restoration Wellness NWA focuses on the physical side of stress and trauma recovery, helping the body settle so other therapies can go deeper.
Our approach draws from: • Neuroscience and nervous system regulation • Clinical herbal support • Trauma-informed care • Gentle movement and breathwork for release and grounding • Slow, restorative practices that help your body exhale
No forcing. No shame. No pressure. Just calm, steady support to help your body feel safe enough to heal.
Not at this time. Most holistic and somatic services aren’t covered by traditional insurance. We offer clear pricing, bundles, and limited sliding scale appointments as available.
You’ll start by filling out confidential intake forms. Everything you share is protected and kept private under HIPAA guidelines. From there, your care plan is built around you—not a one-size-fits-all model. Some clients prefer movement-based nervous system support, others focus on herbal care, and many combine both. Your plan is shaped by your needs, comfort level, and goals.
After your session, you’ll receive a written plan with clear steps and practical tools you can use right away. If herbs are part of your plan, each blend is hand-prepared with clinical care and precision. Herbs are purchased separately from consultations so you only pay for what you choose.
This work is calm, safe, and unhurried. There’s no pressure to perform and no expectation to push past your limits. Everything is designed for sensitive nervous systems that need space to rest, reset, and recover. You’ll leave feeling more grounded and steady than when you arrived.
Each session is gentle, slow, and guided entirely by what your body can handle. There’s no mysticism, no energy work—just evidence-based, neuroscience-informed care that helps your body release stress and return to safety.
You stay fully clothed. You stay in control the entire time. You can speak or stay quiet. You can pause or stop whenever you need.
We begin by helping your nervous system shift out of its guarded, high-alert state. That might include grounding through breath, simple orientation tools, or slow sensory techniques that help your body feel the room and settle. From there, we move into calm, targeted movements that teach your body it’s safe to let go of tension.
For some women, the shoulders finally drop.
For others, the breath deepens. Sometimes warmth returns to the hands. Sometimes the belly softens. Sometimes there’s a long, steady exhale.
Nothing is forced. Nothing is rushed. You’re never pushed beyond your comfort level. My role is to guide, observe your cues, and help your body find a steady rhythm without overwhelm.
The goal is simple: to help your body step out of survival mode and into steadiness so true healing can begin.
Most clients leave feeling calmer, clearer, and more grounded in their own skin. It’s not magic—it’s the body doing what it was designed to do when given the right conditions.
